The Cozy Theater, formerly known as the Jitney Theater at 117 South Main Street, opened its doors at 9:30am on Saturday the 21st of September, 1918 to the public by offering a free show to all kids that wanted to come. The theater showed the serial drama "Boy Scouts To The Rescue". Additionally, any Boy Scouts that came to the afternoon showing would get in free if they wore their uniforms. |
