GARRICK THEATRE    121 East 200 South    Opened: 1910    Closed: 1915

The Garrick Theater, located at 121 East 200 South, was previously known as the Grand Theater, but was renamed "The Garrick Theater" in 1910.

The decoration of the walls and ceiling, the widening of the aisles, the enlarging of the orchestra, increasing the space on the stage, remodeling of the boxes, and a general beautifying of the entire interior of this once popular old playhouse made it a practically new and up to date theater.

The new Garrick Theater opened its doors on September 4, 1910 with the William Ingersoll stock company as its attraction.

The management of the theater was under the Salt Lake Amusement association.
