LIBERTY THEATER    162 South State Street    Opened: 1911    Closed: 1920

The Liberty Theater was located next to the Empire Theater at 162 South State Street, and opened for business on March 13th, 1911.

The theater was quite large with seating over 1,000 and the interior decorations of the theater were considered to be very elaborate.

Two hundred wicker seats were put into the reserved seat section of the theater for opening night.
